Q: Where are you from?
A: I’m from deep in the heart of Glen Rose, Texas, but moved to Portland with my wife in October 2022.
Q: Where did you go to school?
A: I ventured into the world of financial wisdom armed with a Masters in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University.
Q: Why North Ridge?
A: North Ridge shares my belief that success is a path, not a destination. I love being part of a team that helps individuals define success on their terms. Whether it's securing a comfortable retirement, building a robust investment portfolio, or weathering life's financial storms, I'm here to guide you.
Q: Why financial planning?
A: My journey into financial planning wasn't a straight path. Initially, I followed the conventional belief that a good job after college would secure a lifetime of financial stability. However, a stint in the healthcare sector made it clear that my heart wasn't there. A bit of soul-searching led me to my true calling—to work with people and help them navigate the complexities of wealth.
Q: What do you do when you aren’t working?
A: Outside the world of finance, you'll often find my wife and I exploring the diverse offerings of the PNW—breweries, wineries, restaurants, and trails are our playground. We thrive on making new friends, hitting the slopes for some skiing, and cherishing time with old friends and family whenever possible. We’ve loved the change of pace moving to Portland has brought to our lives, and our two dogs love the area, too!
Q: Favorite advice you’ve ever received?
A: It’s never too late to get started.
